In 1999, a vision conceived by Jean Robert Dorsainvil, a native of Montrouis, Haiti, led to the formation of Mission Manna, Inc., a non-profit organization based in Asheville, North Carolina. Today, Mission Manna continues to work with Jean Robert and the families of Montrouis to realize his vision to build a hospital specifically for malnourished children in Montrouis, an area which currently has no such service.
Mission Manna provides medical care and malnutrition relief for thousands of Haitian children each year.
Mission Manna is a faith-based organization providing medical care for malnourished children and continuing health care education for adults in and around the Haitian town of Montrouis, while nurturing relationships through respect and creation of understanding between our two cultures.
